‘Dhoom 3’ earns Rs 69.58 crore in just 2 days

After smashing the opening-day collection record at the Indian box-office, Aamir Khan’s new venture ‘Dhoom 3’ continues to do wonders at the box-office. ‘Dhoom 3’ has collected Rs 36.22 crore on Friday and Rs 33.36 crore on Saturday – making it to 69.58 crore net earnings in just 2 days.

“#Dhoom3 – India consolidated total: Fri ? 36.22 cr, Sat ? 33.36 cr. Total: ? 69.58 cr nett. Inclusive of Tamil & Telugu versions,” Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on twitter.

The film is doing a good business in ovearseas too and has grossed nearly $3.3 million.

“All records shattered! Dhoom3 takes the BIGGEST start ever [Hindi films] in USA-Canada. Collects $ 3.3 million [Rs 20.49 cr] in opng wknd,” Taran Adarsh added.

Yash Raj banner’s action thriller “Dhoom 3” features Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Dhoom 3 is all set to become this year’s biggest grosser beating the records set by Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Krrish 3’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Chennai Express’.
