Deepika Padukone says Ranbir Kapoor is possessive about her

Actress Deepika Padukone said that her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor is still possessive about her.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday at a launch of her upcoming movie ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, Deepika said, “Ranbir is possessive about me. It feels like it’s my first film. I am excited about it.”

The movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is directed by Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor plays the male lead role.

Ranbir Kapoor confessed that he was rushed to marry four years back but Ayan Mukherjee told him not to do it.

“One should not keep deadline for marriage…kids. I was in hurry to get married. I was looking forward to getting married four years back…settle down. But it was Ayan Mukherjee who told me not to do so and focus on my career as I had just started, and have fun,” Ranbir said.

“I was amazed and happy looking the way she (Deepika) has grown as an actress. She is extremely intelligent and has a pretty smile, so it is easy to act as like you are in love with her,” Ranbir Kapoor said.

‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is produced by Karan Johar and will be released on May.
