Bollywood Hunk plays Hanks way

The unruly hair, the overgrown beard – the tumultuously shaken look was not quite the way of John Abraham is known to us. But in his next “Madras Cafe” the actor has altered his look so as to fit in his role.

Madras CafeIt took quite a few months to get his new avatar. He has shed weight to look leaner more like an intelligence officer than a hunk. And, he convincingly opted for the same. And, in his new look, John looks close to Tom Hanks in his cult film Cast Away.

After his superhit light hearted take on sperm donors, Shoojit Sircar is all set with his new espionage thriller “Madras Café” hitting theatres this August 23rd. The film has already created stirs owing its alleged portrayal of Tamil Tiger separatists during the civil war in Sri Lanka. The film also stars Nargis Fakhri of “Rockstar” fame.
