‘Aashiqui 2’ collects Rs. 24.75 Crore in 4 Days

Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Aashiqui 2 has been receiving good reviews from the audience as well as from the cine critics.

Mohit Suri directed new romantic-action movie Aashiqui 2 has collected Rs.20 crore in the opening weekend despite a tough competition from Iron Man 3. It made another 4.25 crore on Monday.

 “Aashiqui2 passes the ‘Monday test’. Rock-steady figures. Bonafide Hit Earns 4.25 cr. Superb!” trade analyst Taran Adarsh said.

The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt.

On Friday the film collected Rs.6.25 crore, on Sunday it earned Rs. 6.75 crore and on Sunday it collected Rs.7.50 crore. On Moday it received 4.25 crore.

Made on 12 crore budget the film has been declared a hit already.

“The occupancy for the movie is 40 to 50 percent on an average. More of youngsters and college-going crowds are coming for the movie,” Rajesh Thadani of Multimedia Combines told IANS.
