The fact that children of Bollywood personalities are best at carrying ahead the legacy of their parents is not novel. There are many such names in current list of actors who have made it to top solely with their acting skills, despite having a stellar background. Two more names which are soon going to add to this list are Abhimanyu Dassani and Utkarsh Sharma.
Very well known for her lead role in cult classic, Maine Pyar Kia, Bhagyashree is now ready to get her son in the glam industry. Abhimanyu has been interested in acting since the beginning and has assisted numerous directors till date. Bhagyashree, who hails from a royal family of Maharashtra, was unable to explore much of her acting career because of her getting married early and quitting the industry. Now, her son is all set to take up the same career path, because, if sources are to be believed, he has signed a film, which will be helmed by Vasan Bala and produced by Phantom Films.
Another one on the list is filmmaker Anil Sharma`s son, Utkarsh. Technically, it is going to be Utkarsh`s comeback into Bollywood as he was last seen in Sunny Deol`s Gadar: ‘Ek Prem Katha’ as his onscreen son. The little kid who had gained appreciation for his role, is now geared up to make his full-fledged Bollywood entry in an upcoming film titled ‘Genius’,which will get into the production process in November, his father being his launchpad once again after Gadar.
Anil Sharma is known for his unique style of showcasing films and the realistic touch that makes his films stand out truly. Sharma, who has quite successfully launched many Bollywood stars, including Priyanka Chopra, is quite confident about his son`s entry. He says,”Utkarsh will soon make his foray in Bollywood. From a director’s point of view, he is one of those rare intelligent actors who not only understands the craft but also explores his credentials and strives to deliver nothing but the best. The reason behind his launch is not that he is my son but the fact that he has the potential to become an actor and then a star.”
Undoubtedly, we are excited about these two newbies who have braced themselves to make a mark in industry just like their parents!
