A well-known name in the modelling circuits, Aisha, actress Neha Sharma’s sister, is all set now to make her debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Namaste England.
There was a speculation that the model was supposed to make her big screen debut alongside Varun Dhawan in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Judwaa 2, directed by David Dhawan. But this new development explains things differently.
A source close to this development said, “Sonakshi won’t be the only female lead opposite Akshay in Namaste England. While she plays his wife, Aisha plays his love interest. She is very hot on the modelling circuit and her pairing with Akshay is a fresh one whereas, Sonakshi has been paired with the actor five times already.”
Akshay Kumar is said to have a good eye to spot fresh talent as has been seen previously. He launched South actresses Tamannaah Bhatia and Taapsee Pannu in Bollywood and since then, their career has been on an ever rising scale.
The film is scheduled to start shooting from August this year in London. They will then move on to Mumbai and Punjab to complete the remaining sequences. Nothing has yet been announced about the release date. We shall keep you updated regarding any further developments.
