Oscar Fever On: 15 Docu-Features in the Shortlist

The Oscar Fever is on. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced names of 15 documentaries that have been shortlisted for the final shortlisting further. The semi-finalists include the list that includes “The Armstrong Lie” , “The Act of Killing” and “Blackfish”. It also includes Stories We Tell by Sarah Polley, which won the N.Y Critics Circle Award.

“Stories We Tell,” National Film Board of Canada
“Tim’s Vermeer,” High Delft Pictures
“20 Feet from Stardom,” Gil Friesen Productions and Tremolo Productions
“Which Way Is the Front Line from Here? The Life and Time of Hetherington,”Tripoli Street

The above lists the name of 15 docu-films as the semi-finalists of Oscars.
