In the wake of the world’s one of the most successful e-tailer website, Amazon, an Indian Head Amit Agarwal has been selected in the S-Team of the CEO Jeffery Bezos.
He will be playing a lion’s role in the “Senior” team that makes the principal decisions of the $107 billion Eco giant.
Under Agarwal’s leadership, Amazon India has climbed to greater summits of progress, thus accelerating Agarwal’s momentum to the S- Team. He has been playing a vital role in introducing local innovations like Amazon Now, which ran programmes like Amazon Chai Cart.
In a email to some important, select, employees, CEO Bezos added, “Please join me in welcoming Amit to S-team. Amit and our India team are doing remarkable things. Amit and his experience in India will be a key resource for all of us on S-team as we work to figure out what it is to be a true global company.”
Amazon has been the most visited e-commerce website last year in India. With over 30 million unique visitors in October.
Amazon India too, expressed its contentment, “Agarwal’s inclusion in Amazon’s S-Team is a recognition of how excited Amazon leadership is with our progress and how committed we are in delivering on our ambition to transform how India buys and sells.”
