Apple: India’s preferred fruit, More than China!

India is climbing up the ladder to grow strong, satisfied customers of the most valued company Apple.

Apple, who is known to sell premium, “interactive” tables; iPads and respective iPhones. Following the chain are the Mac line of computers.
Growth rate of Apple has beaten China’s. Though China is many times bigger for Apple when it comes to absolute revenue, the sales in April-June were 93 per cent in India versus 87 per cent in China.
Almost 25 per cent to the $49.6 billion revenue collected in the months of April- June are to be credited from China.
Nevertheless, India is still climbing; slowly, steadily and gradually, buying the valuable Apple devices still being a billion dollar market for Apple.
“The demand has remained strong after the introduction of iPhone 6 last year. Apple devices are selling like hot cakes.” Said Manish Khatri, who runs a multi brand store in Mumbai.
Khatri has even added that much to the surprise, the close competitor Samsung is still struggling. S6 and S6 Edge is not having an impact as big as Apple.
Apple, being known for their high-priced yet worthy products have made sure that their products are served for customers having budgets below Rs. 15,000.
“iPhone 4S is witnessing great demand. The low entry price of the phone means that a highly aspirational product is being available at price points which were never seen before.” A top distributor for the the company said.
Apple keeps high aspirations to sell 7 million units in India by 2018 against the sale of 1 million units in the previous year.
