Harry Potter makes an appearance after seven years. Daily Prophet Gossip columnist ‘Rita Skeeter’ has revealed Harry’s first grey hairs as he turns 34 and Ron Weasley’s “famous ginger hair appears to be thinning slightly”.
“About to turn 34, there are a couple of threads of silver in the famous Auror’s black hair, but he continues to wear the distinctive round glasses that some might say are better suited to a style-deficient twelve-year-old,” writes Skeeter about Harry Potter.
J.K. Rowling has published a new Harry Potter story on her website Pottermore almost seven years after she published her seventh and final installment of Harry Potter series ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’. This article is a part of a series by Rowling about the 2014 Quidditch Cup.
Harry Potter was last seen waving his children onto the Hogwarts train. While giving an update of famous wizard’s current life, Rita Skeeter found “threads of silver” in his black hair. Also she found a mysterious cut on his one cheekbone, which Skeeter concluded saying it could be a result of his work as an Auror. According to Pottermore, Auror is an “elite unit of specialist officers trained to apprehend Dark Wizards”.
Harry’s wife Ginny is now a journalist while Harry and Ron’s wife Hermione Granger work together in the Ministry of Magic. Ron is, however, “co-manage the highly successful wizarding joke emporium Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes.” According to Skeeter, Hermione, “the femme fatale of the group,” is the deputy head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and is “now tipped to go even higher within the Ministry”.
Skeeter/Rowling also revealed Longbottom’s current status. He is a herbology teacher at Hogwarts, and is “a little more Ogden’s Old Firewhisky” than “most of us would expect from custodians of our children”.
