Book Review: Exit Point

Story-in-Short:

Exit Point by thriller writer Anil Goel starts with an investigation into the mysterious death of a teenage girl who was chatting online with another teenager on a social networking site at the exact moment she died. The investigation takes on chilling proportions when it turns out that the girl she was supposedly chatting with had already committed suicide a year ago, and snowballs rapidly into a global crisis spreading across all of humanity via the internet.

 In my view:

exit-point-400x400-imadwyqdxmbzur6pI’ve finished reading Exit Point – a full-fledged novel of Anil Goel. The book begins with the story of two brothers who are attacked by sharks. One sustains injury while the other manages to escape it. What seems like a shark attack becomes even more interesting when one among the two brothers, reveals something else.

On the other hand, a teenage girl is found dead inside her house. Investigations reveal that the girl was online and chatting with another teenager at the time of her death. The enigma of this murder takes comprehensible path when a techie helps investigators in solving it.

But will they be able to solve these strange incidents? Are these incidents related by any chance? Grab the book and dive inside the tale to find more!

The book is genuinely interesting and readers will be mesmerized by the story.

The cover of the book is gripping and the title is catchy. The cover as well as the title is sure to grab attention. The tale is ultramodern and innovative. The initial part of the story is confusing but as it proceeds, it gets out of the cloudy path and becomes clear and vibrant. Readers can understand and imbibe the story. Once that happens, readers begin to completely enjoy the tale. I must say that the author has done thorough research before compiling this novel. Readers can easily get a sense of it while going through the story.

The plot of the story is so excellent that readers won’t feel like putting down the book. But excessive explanation at places makes the story minutely dull. The author has described everything as vivaciously and vividly as possible, but certain information feels unnecessary. The concept of X-Net and Deathswitch is stimulating and this will multiply the level of excitement among readers.

The story revolves around several countries in the world before concluding, and thrills a reader in its course. I felt the concluding part a bit swift and speedy, and it could have been more explicit. Yet, the story is charming and I am suggesting all my readers to purchase this book and go through this exciting tale!
