Congratulations on the release of your first book “Why Did I Fall In Love”. What kind of response you are receiving from the readers?

First of all, I would like to thank you for giving a juncture to talk via this podium. Thanks for congratulating on my authentic endeavor. The response of book is fairly good, three months from publishing date and the book is officially best-seller. Finally publisher has put it on his website home page.

The reviews are saying ‘It was great attempt for a fresh author’ – your comment…

It was really an attempt by fresh author (me :)) , and it is great or bad only readers have to elect it. I have given my 100% to it. I think people liked it, I am getting decent responses from people.

The book talks about new gen love affair, eternal romance, reality and some helpless hypocrisy of society and tragedy – Did you have a target readership in mind?

Yes. It was just a humble and candid message to the young generation. I want them to think twice before getting into thoughtful relationship and making capacities. There is someone who love you from 20 years over your 2 years of love, and that is your parents.

What is your idea of perfect love?

It should be honest, clean and mature. No anticipation in return.

You talked about the enduring love affair in your book respite the tragic ending. How was the emotional journey? As an author how easy or difficult it was to write down the memories?

You can say I have practiced it while writing, again and again. I cried sometime, I smiles sometime and I lost in it sometime.
Writing this was really a tough attempt for me, professionally I am not good at English, but this time I tried stiff to express love and tragedy with a simple and easy to comprehend language.

How was your experience with your publisher?

Not so bad, it is good till now. They are supporting me well now, book was out of stock five times on flipkart and two times on infibeam and uread.com. They took some time to reload the stock but after all it’s just a business, so I did not have any more idea about backend of it.

Book is going to reprint and I am happy that next copy will be having best-seller tag and one more surprising tag. i.e. one Marathi movie producer liked the story of book and he is ready to work on it at some good time. I hope it will go fine for me.

What kind of support you are getting?

Few people whom I met through FB are supporting me well and few whom I met by congratulating emails and calls are supporting either ways.

Which are the books that have influenced you in life?

I too had love story, the only saga which still have influenced on my life. Other Marathi books, Zombie, BatatyachiChal, PahilePrem, etc. I loved to read Marathi earlier, just moved to English novels before few years.

Is there any work of literature especially any love story that you would like to rewrite? If so, why?

Yes, I want re-write my own “why did I fall in love” love story. I want to add few emotions and scenes which I missed into first edition. Due to someone’s suggestion I had deleted it, but when I had sent it to few friends I got suggestion, that, I should have added it into book.
I will add it in next impression on book.

Tell us something about your journey from being an IT professional to an author?

It is memorable and tremendous journey. Sparing time from your office to writing and managing the paddles these two different things was really hectic like juggling fire balls into hand. I want to thanks my friends, colleagues and parents for helping me to manage this well.

How do you manage to find time for writing with a full time challenging job?

Two week-offs and late night writing, when peoples cuddle their pillows and dreams their love. I prefer to write in night time, being into hosting industry and working for USA and UK country I am adjustable to night working. So whenever I am working in afternoon times at office, I come to home in night and write until I get satisfaction of work.

What is the best tip that you can give to the aspiring authors?

The best tip is, please work on editing instead of other things. I made a mistake that I didn’t edit my book well and now getting some reviews that it has few grammatical mistakes. Publisher never works on each and every part of your book.

What is will be the topic of your next book? When can we expect to see the next VinodPardhi book on stands?

Next will be romantic fiction and soon it will be in store, not sure about date and time.  First book was by chance as it was true story, second one will be the book by choice. This time I will get the really review on my work. Book had fiction story but maximum incidences are real.

Any message to the readers who would buy your book…

Forgot some grammatical mistakes and concentrate on the real heart touching feelings, I hope all the peoples who is going to buy book now will get latest edited and mistakes removed copy.
